About Brickell

Brickell is where Miami is most like a big city: office towers, hotel-condos, rooftop bars and the largest concentration of condominiums in the state, all within a walkable grid south of the Miami River. Brickell Avenue and Brickell Bay Drive run along the water with the older luxury towers — Santa Maria, Four Seasons, Jade — while South Miami Avenue and the streets west of it hold the newer high-density buildings around Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village and the Metrorail station.

The daily texture is urban: you can walk to a grocery store, a gym, thirty restaurants and a Whole Foods without crossing a highway, take Metromover to Downtown or Metrorail to the airport, and be on the causeway to Key Biscayne in five minutes by car. Simpson Park and the bayfront at Brickell Key are the green relief.

As a market, Brickell offers the widest range of anything in Miami: studios in 2008-era towers, resort-style two-bedrooms at SLS and Rise, and full-floor residences at Brickell Flatiron and Una. That breadth means the building matters more than the neighborhood — two towers a block apart can differ by 40% per square foot — which is exactly what the building pages here are for.
