Omni

Omni is the southern end of Edgewater, the blocks between the Venetian Causeway and roughly 20th Street where Biscayne Boulevard meets the bay. The name comes from the Omni International Mall of the 1970s, long since replaced; what defines the area today is the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, the former Miami Herald site on the water being planned anew, and Margaret Pace Park at its northern edge.

The towers are among Edgewater's oldest and largest: The Grand, a 1980s bayfront building with its own marina and shops, 1800 Club and Opera Tower from the 2000s boom facing the park, and Parc Lofts, an industrial-style boutique building a few blocks inland. Because the buildings are older and larger, this is where Edgewater's most accessible bayfront prices are found.

Downtown's arena, Bayside and the Brightline station are one Metromover stop or a fifteen-minute walk south; the Arsht Center, the Design District and Wynwood are minutes in the other directions.
